Senior Product Manager - Fleet

We want the brightest AI & ML minds to join our Fleet Product Team to help us develop and/or maintain capabilities such as: Fleet Operations & Control Automation: Leverage agentic AI, automation and other techniques to optimize the routing and execution of various fleet operations and control processes – with goal of maximizing fleet availability and minimizing operating costs. Service Automation: Automate and optimize the routing of vehicle servicing needs to maximize fleet health and availability. Shop Efficiency: Maximize internal (Hertz-owned) maintenance shop performance by driving technician productivity, repair quality and optimizing parts/labor costs associated with servicing vehicles. Partner Services: Utilize computer vision, LLMs, and other techniques to rationalize quality of services and cost to hold partners accountable and improve performance over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of end-to-end product management experience (e.g. vision setting, product definition, trade off making, testing, release management, measurement / feature enhancement, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, aligning with company goals and market needs.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in AI/ML, telematics, and vehicle diagnostics.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements based on customer feedback and business objectives.
  • Oversee the ideation, definition, development, testing, launch, and monitoring of features end-to-end.
  • Work closely with engineering, data science, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, challenges, and successes, fostering transparency and trust.
  • Provide training and support to service partners and customers, ensuring they can effectively use the product.
