About The Position

RTX is seeking a business savvy software product manager to define, prioritize and oversee the development of software products, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the market, customers, and the development team, guiding the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond.

Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and minimum 7 years experience
10+ years of experience related to product management and/or software development.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
Maintain and be responsible for the clear product requirements, delivery with the Engineering team and metrics for success are built and maintained.
Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback to understand market needs and identify opportunities.
Translating market requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact.
Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
Managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life, including planning, development, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
Tracking product performance using key metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize the product.
