Senior Product Manager, Endpoint

Halcyon
$180,000 - $240,000Remote

About The Position

Halcyon is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own their endpoint product area. This role involves shaping strategy, driving product development from problem definition to iteration, and being accountable for results. The Product Manager will work closely with a technical engineering team, own customer outcomes and business objectives, and engage directly with enterprise customers and prospects. Collaboration with Sales Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support is crucial for gathering feedback and ensuring successful product launches and adoption. The role requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical teams and executive-level buyers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management, with several years at a senior or lead level owning an area rather than a queue of assigned features.
  • Endpoint experience: shipped agent-based software that runs on customer machines, understanding deployment at scale, performance footprint, OS behavior, telemetry, upgrade and rollback, and production issues.
  • Experience with B2B enterprise products sold to external customers in a customer-facing capacity (not internal tools or platform operations).
  • Technical aptitude to work with a highly technical engineering team, including following design discussions, reading architecture documents, asking the right questions, and pushing back credibly.
  • Ability to keep up with engineering and question when necessary, as engineering owns the solution.
  • A detailed track record of owned areas, decisions made, shipped products, and business impact driven.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both engineers and executives.
  • Willingness to travel to customers, approximately 30% to 40%, often in concentrated stretches.

Nice To Haves

  • Endpoint security or endpoint management background (EDR, EPP, anti-ransomware, systems management) at a vendor where the agent was the product.
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience.
  • Applied AI or ML in a shipped product.

Responsibilities

  • Own the endpoint product area.
  • Shape the strategy for the endpoint solution and translate company objectives into a defensible roadmap.
  • Define scope, sequence work, and make tradeoff decisions, owning them when questioned and adjusting as needed.
  • Drive initiatives from discovery through general availability and post-launch iteration using a transparent and collaborative approach.
  • Report on outcomes such as adoption, retention, and deal impact.
  • Engage directly with enterprise customers and prospects to validate problems before committing to solutions.
  • Represent the product in roadmap reviews, executive briefings, and technical deep dives with security teams.
  • Transform scattered feedback into a defensible point of view.
  • Partner with engineering on requirements, architecture discussions, and delivery quality while balancing business priorities.
  • Work with Sales Architects on deal support, technical objections, and field feedback.
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Support to ensure successful launches and adoption.
  • Collaborate within Product/UX to ensure aligned prioritization and execution.
  • Surface risks early and drive them to resolution.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents.
  • Short and long-term disability coverage.
  • Basic life and AD&D insurance plans.
  • Medical and dependent care FSA options.
  • 401k plan with a generous employer contribution.
  • Flexible PTO policy.
  • Parental leave.
  • Generous equity offerings.
