About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager on our Customer Data and AI Enablement team, you will be building and leading empowered teams that partner with key internal teams, engage in customer research, execute data-driven prioritization to design, build, and launch initiatives driving supporting both Best Buy’s customer needs and Best Buy’s business objectives and key results. You will support the adoption of product management practices, foster inclusive leadership, and pioneer new ways of working. The Customer Data and AI Enablement team accelerates enterprise-wide adoption of data and AI across Advanced Analytics, Product, and Sales & Operations by delivering scalable data platforms, self-service tools, and measurement capabilities that support continued growth. This role sits within that team and owns data products for Enterprise Surveys and the Digital Experimentation Platform. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experiences.
  • 2+ years relevant product management experiences (dev, UX, strategy, etc.)
  • 1 year of experience in strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, cross-functional leadership and related areas
  • Experience with Machine Learning and/or AI Solutions
  • Experience in media analytics or experimentation platforms
  • Experience with Ad Analytics and the Ad Ecosystem

Nice To Haves

  • 6 years of Product Management experience, OR experience working with development, User experience, Strategy, or related
  • 2 years of experience with direct people management and team management
  • Demonstrated experience building products or deep knowledge of customer experience metrics.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Content Square or similar technologies
  • Experience working in an omni-channel retail environment
  • Extensive experience in driving data products in a B2B or B2C company in a product management, data science, or engineering capacity.
  • Proven expertise in Statistics behind experimentation, Geo Tests, A/B, multi-arm bandit, multivariate testing etc.
  • Experience working hands-on in or partnering closely with ML engineering, ML science, or software engineering teams.

  • Define and drive a long-term product vision across complex, matrixed organizations aligned to enterprise strategy and goals
  • Translate business needs into clear customer outcomes, features, and roadmaps for highly complex product lines
  • Own product strategy and execution end to end, delivering against core customer value propositions and Best Buy’s strategic and financial objectives
  • Lead with deep customer empathy, fostering trust while removing systemic constraints (resources, technology, financial) that limit impact
  • Apply a test, learn, and iterate mindset to drive innovation, adapt through ambiguity, and overcome adversity
  • Measure and optimize product performance using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform decisions and outcomes
