About The Position

At BrightWay, we are on a mission to improve the financial well-being of hard-working Americans by transforming how customers think about and use credit cards. Operating as a startup owned by OneMain Financial, we launched our digital-first credit card suite in 2021 and are experiencing high growth. We focus on a customer-first approach to product development, drawing inspiration from outside influences to create new frameworks. Our office in Charlotte, NC, serves as a hub for our distributed team. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Customer Management team. This role will focus on driving customer engagement with our Cards products, increasing incremental usage and spend, and enhancing the customer experience within the BrightWay mobile app and other digital properties. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences at scale, a strong bias for action, and the ability to execute long-term roadmaps while managing stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker who blends data-driven insights with product intuition to push the boundaries of product experience. Open-mindedness, inquisitiveness, and teamwork are essential. This is a hybrid role based out of our Charlotte, North Carolina or Wilmington, DE office.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience working on successful digital consumer products, ideally in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in standing up or running new products or experiences, and the relentless pursuit of details needed for execution.
  • Experience creating a product vision and strategy and aligning it across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with a Product Operating Model and the OKR framework.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Customer focus and drive to deliver constant value.
  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously solve complex problems and carry the solution end to end.
  • Extensive hands-one experience leading scrum teams, and proficiency in writing detailed user-stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for your domain.
  • Expertise with programs such as Confluence, Jira, Figma, and Miro.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your team’s roadmap to deliver on quarterly and annual business goals.
  • Identify and drive strategic initiatives and long term roadmaps within the Customer Management space, staying on top of the market and customer expectations.
  • Bring unique and ownable solutions to our business challenges.
  • Manage and own dependencies across teams and vendors.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and pain points through data analysis, and direct user interactions.
  • Communicate status updates, strategic risks and key dependencies, progress against objectives, and wins to your team leaders.
  • Be a critical voice for the team to help clarify the strategy and amplify the work.
  • Partner closely with cross functional team members across product, design, engineering, operations, and analytics to ensure alignment, prioritization, and delivery across launches.
