Senior Product Manager, Connectors

About The Position

As Senior Product Manager, Connectors, you'll lead key connector initiatives within Veeam's Data AI Command Center platform, focusing on delivering new connectors, improving scan reliability and coverage, and enhancing the end-to-end connector experience. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you'll work closely with engineering and design to execute roadmap priorities and deliver measurable outcomes that help customers discover and govern data across complex application and data landscapes.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS or platform products
  • Solid technical foundation across APIs, data systems, integration patterns, and cloud concepts
  • Experience working directly with backend and platform engineering teams in Agile delivery models
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into clear product requirements and customer outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data security posture management concepts and workflows such as data discovery, scanning, and sensitive data classification
  • Experience building or managing integrations for cloud platforms, SaaS systems, or data infrastructure tools
  • Background working with enterprise customers in complex deployment environments such as multi-tenant SaaS or hybrid architectures

Responsibilities

  • Own roadmap execution for a set of high-impact connectors and shared connector framework capabilities including setup, scan workflows, and reliability improvements
  • Lead product discovery through customer interviews, field feedback, support and telemetry analysis, and competitive insights to inform prioritization
  • Define requirements for connector capabilities including authentication models, scan configuration, data extraction patterns, and operational experiences such as logging, error handling, and troubleshooting
  • Write clear product requirements and user stories with acceptance criteria, edge cases, and non-functional requirements covering performance, scalability, and security
  • Partner with engineering to plan milestones, manage tradeoffs, and deliver iterative releases
  • Track and improve product success metrics including scan success rate, time-to-first-value, connector adoption, and reliability
  • Coordinate launch readiness with documentation, enablement, and GTM stakeholders
