They are backed by notable investors such as Kevin Weil (Chief Product Officer at OpenAI) and Arash Ferdowsi (co-founder of Dropbox). This role is for a Senior Product Manager working on AI systems. The individual will be instrumental in directing research, experimentation, and improvement of AI systems to build a robust and reliable AI automation platform. This platform is used globally to deploy and scale AI automations in critical production environments. The Product Manager will own the Intelligence and Applied AI product area, responsible for defining key metrics, testing speeds, and graduating model capabilities from experimental to customer-dependent features. The role requires strong product management fundamentals, adaptability to new concepts, and the ability to drive technical projects in demanding settings.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of shipping AI or ML powered products in challenging projects.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including 0 to 1 work.
  • Fluency in model evaluation, failure modes, and the transition from demo to production deployment.
  • Comfort using evals, benchmarks, and model performance data as primary decision inputs.
  • Solid fundamentals in system design and technical trade-offs.
  • Ability to write specifications for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail and first-principles thinking towards real-world deployment of intelligent systems.
  • Founder and ownership mindset.
  • Experience taking products from ideation through launch and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define internal AI benchmarks for team optimization and their prediction of customer outcomes.
  • Partner on evaluation frameworks to accelerate the speed and direction of experimentation.
  • Decide which model improvements become shipped platform capabilities and which experiments to stop early.
  • Set the standard for accuracy, generalization, and failure behavior for production automations.
  • Collaborate and contribute to core product development for enhanced platform capabilities.
  • Work with engineering on observability and monitoring systems to ensure safe model behavior in critical settings.
  • Establish operational procedures for navigating early-stage questions without obvious answers.
  • Enable sales and customer success teams to accurately communicate AI capabilities and limitations.
