About The Position

The Senior Product Manager for AI at GE Vernova plays a crucial role in the development and execution of AI-powered products that transform business processes. This role is essential to our mission of pioneering AI-driven innovation and enhancing user experiences across the enterprise. The Senior Product Manager will work with across GE Vernova and with the AI Portfolio Manager to identify, prioritize and build out AI products. These products (several) focus on delivering improvements and value through the lens of the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) framework, measuring the impact of AI initiatives. As a GE Vernova accelerator, GE Vernova Advanced Research is driving strategy and leading research & development efforts to execute on the business’s mission to help power the energy transition. We forge the collaborations and help invent the technologies required to electrify and decarbonize for a zero-carbon future.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Technical Proficiency and Data-Driven Mindset
• Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY or Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

• Product Ownership and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and research, to develop and execute product roadmaps that align with strategic objectives.
• Roadmap input: Provide input, alongside the Portfolio manager, to build the product roadmaps
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, IT, and designers to ensure the development of robust AI solutions, maintaining technical rigor and introducing new methods for verifying success and identifying risks.
• User Experience: Focus on delivering exceptional user experiences by understanding and addressing user needs in AI applications.
• Cross-Business Coordination: Support the coordination of AI applications to drive improvements and innovations across Vernova.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to measure product performance and make informed decisions. Define and monitor metrics and KPIs to ensure the success and impact of AI initiatives.
• Post-Launch Support: Monitor product performance post-launch, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance value delivery.
• 3rd party solutions: Oversee the interjection of AI products coming from 3rd party software suppliers and determine best technology fit.
