About The Position

Owner is building the most trusted brand in small business software: a product-led journey that helps restaurant owners understand their opportunity, trust Owner, and take action. The Grader is the #1 way owners start their journey with Owner, and we’re looking for a Product Manager to evolve it into a more powerful system that reaches more owners, increases conversion, and accelerates Owner’s growth rate. This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Ability to get things done: you have a track record of shipping software that made a difference for your customers
  • Excellent product sense: you have a good understanding of what makes for a high-quality product and are opinionated about what solutions will be successful
  • Deep customer empathy: you care about helping your customers and are skilled at performing research to uncover their true needs
  • Strong data fluency: you effectively gather and integrate quantitative and qualitative data to inform your decision-making and update your intuition
  • Proficiency handling ambiguity: you make sure your goals are clearly defined and display significant independence in achieving them
  • Clear written and verbal communication: you’re a force for clarity and alignment, ensuring everyone’s on the same page
  • Competence with technical complexity: you can understand the high-level architecture of a product and its implications for the customer experience, and you’re comfortable talking with engineers about project scope and tradeoffs

Responsibilities

  • Own one of the most important products for transforming the customer journey and accelerating growth at Owner.
  • Increase the percentage of qualified restaurant owners who join Owner after starting with the Grader.
  • Evolve the Grader from a high-performing funnel into a more powerful growth system across acquisition, evaluation, conversion, and post-purchase launch.
  • Identify where owners lose trust, get confused, or drop off, then ship improvements that make the path to joining Owner feel clearer, more valuable, and more compelling.
  • Use data, experimentation, and customer insight to understand the funnel deeply and prioritize the work most likely to increase Owner’s growth rate.
  • Partner closely with Design and Engineering to create a high-converting, high-trust product experience for restaurant owners.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Launch to connect the Grader journey to the broader Owner growth system.
  • Work with leadership across Product and GTM to align the roadmap around the highest-leverage opportunities to help more owners join Owner.
