Senior Product Manager - Agentic Commerce

By leveraging our membership model, premium brand, and differentiated data assets, this person will help define the experiences and capabilities that create value for Card Members, merchants, partners, and the broader ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product management/development, or similar role
  • Enthusiasm for exceptional products and services, deep customer empathy, keen product intuition, and skilled at articulation of product functionality
  • Curiosity and a hunger to understand how things work, with the ability to use that knowledge to make connections, identify opportunities, and push the innovation agenda within a large company.
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong ownership mentality and business track record
  • Understanding of tech and product development processes, with the ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical partners
  • Ability to reconcile competing needs across customers, stakeholders, and partners, making effective decisions and gaining buy in
  • Proven partner to engineering and comfortable discussing technical trade-offs; known as a business person who can talk tech
  • Detail oriented, able to identify key questions, and assess how pieces of the puzzle interact and affect the overall product
  • Ability to recognize issues quickly and determine how to get a resolution through creative and efficient problem solving
  • Skilled at balancing big picture strategy and tactical details
  • Team player, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable, accountable, and highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills across cross functional teams with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Willingness to be creative within the bounds of the highly regulated financial services environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver foundational capabilities that enable secure, scalable agentic commerce across the payments ecosystem.
  • Align product strategy, requirements, and roadmaps across issuer and network perspectives to ensure scalable and interoperable solutions.
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends, balancing near-term execution priorities with long-term strategy to support the overall product vision.
  • Collaborate on the development of capabilities related to authentication, authorization, tokenization, spend controls, identity, merchant enablement, and trust infrastructure.
  • Drive alignment on long-term platform architecture, operating models, and ecosystem strategy to support future scale.
  • Partner deeply with engineering teams to understand and develop a perspective on how to apply evolving technologies for AI agent-facilitated payments.
  • Balance the needs of customers, internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners while working with engineering to identify technical solutions, shape product requirements, and deliver platform capabilities that advance Agentic Commerce experiences.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous, cross-ecosystem problems by defining how data flows across merchants, PSPs, and AI/LLM partners to support fraud, servicing, and Card Member experiences.
  • Work with Business Development teams to evaluate, influence and operationalize partner requirements, and with Product Enablement teams on go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner closely with Fraud and Servicing to define strategies for fraud prevention, dispute management, and call or chat handling related to agentic transactions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to develop and adhere to governance principles and payments regulations to ensure compliant and secure payment experiences.
