About The Position

This role is responsible for owning the strategy, creation, and execution of assigned product lines from consumer insight through commercialization, ensuring alignment with category objectives and the GTM calendar. The Senior Product Line Manager will translate consumer, athlete, marketplace, and competitive insights into clear product briefs and actionable product opportunities. They will partner with Design, Development, Innovation, and Merchandising teams to deliver innovative, performance-driven product collections that meet consumer and business needs. This role involves monitoring category, franchise, and competitive performance to identify opportunities, evaluate product success, and inform future product and line planning decisions. The position requires leading and influencing cross-functional partners across Product Creation, Merchandising, Marketing, Sales, and Regional teams to drive alignment and commercial success. Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate and timely product information within PLM systems, engaging with athletes, consumers, retailers, and industry partners, and developing/delivering compelling product stories and strategies. Travel up to 20% domestic and international is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product management, merchandising, or product creation experience within sporting goods, preferably footwear.
  • Passion for running with a strong understanding of the performance running consumer, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into product opportunities.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, PLM systems, and product analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively within a global matrix organization.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Domestic and international travel required up to 20%.

  • Travel up to 20% domestic and international to engage with consumers, key markets, retailers, development partners, and industry events.
