Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
Four (4) years of experience in quality, manufacturing, laboratory, and/or product/process development in a private, public, government or military environment

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (ex. Minitab, Design of Experiments)
Experience working with adhesives or polymer films
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong communication skills both verbal and written, analytical and organizational skills to manage different priorities.

Responsibilities

Expanding and managing our product and process understanding for Post-it® Core Notes
Implementing programs to improve quality, reduce cost, qualify alternate sources-of-supply and expand product offerings to support the retail consumer business
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Laboratory, Manufacturing, Business / Marketing, Supply Chain / Sourcing, Regulatory, and Quality to drive key Change Management Process (CMP) programs forward for existing products and product line extensions.
Verifying and documenting product specifications for existing and new products in 3M Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) system.
Conducting product claims testing, developing test methods, and documenting test results via 3M’s claim substantiation process in the PLM system.
Supporting, as a team member, New Product Introductions (NPI) to drive implementation and launch.
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
