Senior Product Engineer
About The Position

We are looking for a talented Senior Product Engineer to contribute to the development of new products through various stages of their development life cycle. This Senior Product Engineer will be an experienced professional with the ability to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways. Success as a Senior Product Engineer will be self-motivated, need little day-to-day direction after alignment of expectations and responsibilities, work effectively within a team, and have expertise around associated business processes and product development workflows. This role would reside in the US for approximately one year (Chelmsford or Chaska with best learning opportunity in Chelmsford) and then spend ~ 2 years on an international ex-pat assignment in Japan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 8+ years of professional Engineering experience or a master’s degree with 6+ years of professional Engineering experience.
- Engaging communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and management skills and an analytical thinker
Nice To Haves
- Specific experience with semiconductor equipment or similar fully automated capital equipment.
- Experience with gas-cluster ion beam and / or ion implantation technology and etch is a plus
- Proven experience in the application of lean principles and formal problem-solving techniques
- Proficiency in project planning software.
- Experience with Monday.com is a plus
- Certified Project Management Professional is a plus
Responsibilities
- Serve as factory point of contact for advanced troubleshooting of issues at customer sites; coordinate resolution with cross-functional team
- Ensure customer requirements are well documented and delivered to meet expectations
- Provide information to field teams and customers regarding tool operation needs (power, chemicals, water, etc.)
- Ensure customer specifications are well understood by the TMEA community
- Drive compliance for all engineering change orders
- Drafting engineering requirements for new feature requests from the customer that enable improvements to system performance to meet stringent customer specifications
