About The Position

Klarity is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own core, user-facing parts of their product end-to-end. This role involves transforming complex problems into intuitive, AI-native workflows, designing experiences that rival consumer apps, and bringing designs to life through prototypes and collaboration with engineering. The company emphasizes systems thinking and a track record of shipping products, valuing intuition and trustworthiness in enterprise AI products. Design at Klarity is a hands-on, collaborative process working closely with engineering and product teams, with a focus on craft, edge cases, and user feedback. Designing for AI is a core aspect of the role.

Requirements

  • Exceptional design craft with a high bar for visual hierarchy, interaction, motion, and accessibility.
  • Ability to prototype with AI tools or code to explore and validate ideas quickly.
  • AI-native thinking, integrating AI into the problem-solving process.
  • Systems thinking to understand how complex enterprise product components fit together.
  • High agency and ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear direction.
  • Several years of experience designing complex software, ideally enterprise/B2B or developer tools.
  • A portfolio showcasing craft and end-to-end ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Shipped front-end code (React, TypeScript, or similar), even from side projects.
  • Experience designing enterprise, B2B, or developer tools.
  • A strong point of view on AI UX, focusing on trustworthiness.

Responsibilities

  • Own core user-facing features, defining visual language, interaction patterns, and flows from concept to launch.
  • Ensure feature coherence within the surrounding product area, maintaining a consistent user experience.
  • Design and prototype using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Claude Design, Replit) to create interactive prototypes and contribute front-end changes.
  • Design trustworthy AI-native, agentic workflows that are legible, manage confidence and uncertainty, and include human oversight for critical actions.
  • Contribute to the design system by creating reusable patterns, components, and tokens for both human and AI use.
  • Ground design decisions in user research, including qualitative feedback (interviews, usability testing) and quantitative data (product analytics).
