About The Position

Responsible for the design, creation, testing and development of product(s). Collaborates with business and technical staff to move designs from concept into production.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
6-8 years of directly related experience
Expertise with Sketch, Adobe CS, InVision and/or other modern prototyping tools
Proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes required for anything from user research to internal feedback gathering
Exceptional communication skills and presentation skills
A self-starter with an ability to excel in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks

Responsibilities

Consistently delivers designs that are complete without need for clarification on design details
Deeply understands industry patterns, identifying how and when they are effective
Creates new industry patterns when needed, validated with research
Understands competitor landscape and industry trends for use cases, using insight to inform product strategy and identify sustainable competitive advantages
Leverage inputs from user research, usability testing, customer support feedback, and analytics to constantly iterate and improve the product
Articulate design decisions and trade-offs, both verbally and visually, across disciplines
Partner with engineering very closely to ensure design concepts are both feasible at the start, and properly implemented at the end
Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs
