About The Position

MaintainX is seeking a Senior Product Designer who possesses a blend of exceptional craft and deep product thinking to contribute to the evolution of MaintainX's AI-first product experience. This role involves leading design throughout the entire product lifecycle, encompassing discovery, research, prototyping, and final UI design for both web and mobile platforms. The designer will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow designers to create features that simplify complex systems for frontline users.

Requirements

6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
Experience designing for complexity, not just simplicity.
Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
Strong design system and handoff practices.
Experience designing for AI and data-rich experiences.
Systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces across web and mobile, from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity.
Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality and accessibility across the product lifecycle.
Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.
