About The Position

The company is a Series D funded organization with over $325M in funding from investors like a16z, Accel, and Spark Capital. The role is on the Patient team and focuses on designing the patient experience across partnership channels, including Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), health systems, and payer partnerships. The designer will be responsible for making the transition from a third-party referral to receiving care feel seamless, trustworthy, and human. This role involves inventing new products, scaling existing ones, and influencing multi-million dollar relationships through presentations to partners. The designer will collaborate with a Staff PM, engineering, and cross-functional teams such as Payer Relations, Health System BD, and Ops. The position reports to the Director of Product Design for Patient. Headway is building an AI-first design team, utilizing tools like Claude, Cursor, and MagicPatterns for prototyping, development, and iteration directly in code.
