About The Position

Weights & Biases, now part of CoreWeave, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of a key product area. This role involves translating complex MLOps and AI-practitioner needs into intuitive, high-impact workflows. The designer will define strategy, solve complex problems, and elevate product quality by partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and practitioners. A key focus will be on CoreUX, encompassing cross-platform UX and shared experiences like onboarding, identity flows, navigation, information architecture, and foundational in-product patterns. This role requires a strong understanding of how AI and rapid development cycles impact design, ensuring foundational components and standards are future-proof. The designer will also play a key part in shaping and maintaining the W&B design system, including core primitives, patterns, and components used across the organization.

  • 7+ years of experience as a versatile designer who can own all facets of design (User research, UX, prototyping, and UI design).
  • Experience contributing to cross-platform UX and the set of experiences shared by multiple features.
  • Experience developing and maintaining design systems and working with engineering counterparts to define reusable primitives, patterns and components.
  • Actively incorporates AI tools into your design workflow for faster iteration, technical prototyping, and tackling harder problems.
  • Understanding of how the industry is using AI to streamline design processes and familiarity with core concepts like AI agents, vibe coding, and agent skills.
  • An excellent portfolio, showcasing user-focused problems solved via interaction and visual design and ideation.
  • Experience building applications for AI builders.
  • Strong working knowledge of design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
  • Solid understanding of building usable, accessible, and modular designs that scale.
  • Experience working with Product Managers to develop the strategy and solve problems for technical users.
