About The Position

Fieldguide is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Audit product team. This role involves owning complex and ambiguous problem spaces from start to finish, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, and contributing to the design direction of a core Fieldguide product. The company operates at a fast pace, requiring designers who can match this cadence, ship frequently, iterate quickly, and make progress amidst ambiguity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing speed with quality, integrating AI into their design process, and designing AI-assisted workflows. This is a high-impact position for someone eager to tackle unclear problems, drive progress, and modernize essential audit workflows.

  • Experience working alongside or designing AI-assisted workflows (e.g., review, summarization, guidance)
  • Incorporate AI into your daily design practice—from research and synthesis to prototyping and iteration
  • Excited to design AI-assisted workflows that meaningfully support auditors in their work
  • Set a high bar for usability, polish, and consistency in shipped work
  • A trusted design voice who elevates the team through mentorship, feedback, and thoughtful critique

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design for complex, ambiguous audit workflows, from problem definition through shipped solutions
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape strategy, influence roadmaps, and deliver high-quality, scalable implementations

  • Translate customer needs, research insights, and business goals into clear user journeys, interaction models, and polished UI
  • Balance speed and iteration with usability, consistency, and long-term product quality
  • Advocate for users while accounting for technical, regulatory, and business constraints
  • Own a significant product area or customer journey, anticipating downstream impacts across workflows and personas
  • Set a high bar for craft and influence by contributing to the design system, mentoring peers, and serving as a trusted design voice
