The Senior Product Delivery Lead role requires significant experience to manage complex backlogs, lead discovery for large features, coordinate cross-team dependencies, and mentor junior team members. This position offers broad autonomy, requires navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, and contributing to the overall improvement of the Product Delivery Lead team's standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or product delivery role.
  • Proven experience managing complex backlogs across multiple workstreams or teams.
  • Strong command of Agile/Scrum principles with demonstrated delivery outcomes.
  • Experience facilitating discovery and requirements sessions with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and elevate junior team members.
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, or equivalent delivery tooling.

Nice To Haves

  • CSPO, SAFe POPM, or PMI-PBA certification.
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).
  • Experience in retail technology, POS systems, or fuel/convenience industry.
  • Familiarity with product analytics and data-driven prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive complex, multi-epic backlogs with direct, significant business impact.
  • Lead product discovery and feature definition, partnering with Product Management to shape priorities.
  • Maintain 2+ sprints of fully refined, Definition of Ready work consistently.
  • Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping sessions independently.
  • Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders with confidence and strategic clarity, presenting risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, leading program-level planning inputs and quarterly roadmap reviews.
  • Actively mentor Junior and Mid-Level PDLs through regular feedback and coaching.
  • Contribute to PDL standards, templates, and best practices across the delivery team, driving continuous improvement of refinement practices.
