About The Position

Verkada is seeking a Senior Product Counsel to support its product and engineering teams across the full lifecycle of its hardware and software offerings. This role serves as a key legal partner, advising on regulatory compliance, product development, and go-to-market considerations across a global product suite.
The position will provide guidance on legal issues related to connected devices, government procurement requirements, and product marketing, while helping design and implement compliance frameworks that scale with the company’s growth. The role also supports product launch processes, ensuring new offerings meet applicable legal and regulatory standards across jurisdictions.
Working closely with product, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams, the attorney will translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance that supports timely product development. The role also monitors evolving global regulations and advises on their impact across current and future product offerings.
The ideal candidate brings experience advising technology companies on product and regulatory matters, particularly across hardware and software environments. You are comfortable navigating complex compliance frameworks, working cross-functionally, and providing practical legal guidance that enables innovation while managing risk.
