About The Position

The Senior Product Consultant for Wealth will provide highly advanced education, practice management, tax and estate planning, and complex case consultation on investment products. This role involves working closely with Advisors and Distribution Management teams to achieve wealth goals through implementing solutions for all wealth needs and offering product expertise for high-end investment cases.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience and knowledge of Individual Life, Living Benefits and/or Estate and Financial planning.
  • Completed post-secondary education in a related discipline.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations.
  • Life and Accident & Sickness (LLQP) licenses.
  • Sales experience in the financial services industry, including familiarity with advisor practice management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on investment products, segregated funds and annuities to Advisors, helping them understand product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Proactively supporting Advisors in honing their business by providing insights and guidance on wealth strategies, including human resources, wealth processes, marketing, transitions, and network partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Advisors to integrate wealth products into their sales plans to achieve their goals by providing detailed case analysis and well thought-out solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for Advisor queries related to wealth products, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with other product expertise teams to ensure a cohesive approach to product support.
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager, Product Expertise to align wealth expertise strategies with overall business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes and practices related to product.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure that investment funds and insurance product support remains competitive and effective.
