About The Position

Castelion is seeking a Senior Producer - Creative to build and lead its new brand studio from the ground up. This role involves defining production workflows, ensuring visual consistency, and managing all stages of video content creation, from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, exceptional production skills, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure technical accuracy. This is an opportunity to shape the visual identity of a company developing next-generation defense technology.

Requirements

  • 7 or more years of end-to-end video production experience, including full ownership of projects from brief through final delivery.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft in cinematography, editing, and color grading across multiple production scales.
  • Deep experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
  • Demonstrated experience shooting in technically complex or restricted environments, including aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or comparable industrial settings.
  • Proven track record leading and directing production crews on location and in studio.
  • Fluency with motion graphics and 2D or 3D animation as storytelling tools.
  • Familiarity with AI assisted production and post production workflows and a clear point of view on how these tools serve, rather than replace, creative judgment.
  • Extreme attention to detail without losing sight of the larger narrative goal.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a brand studio build or agency launch context.
  • Working knowledge of real time rendering tools such as Unreal Engine for visualization and previsualization purposes.
  • Experience with camera systems from Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Arri, and Blackmagic.
  • Prior work in an in-house creative environment inside a technology, aerospace, or defense company.
  • Familiarity with ITAR requirements and the operational realities of producing content in a classified or access restricted facility.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the creative production architect for Castelion's new brand studio.
  • Lead and own all stages of production: concept, pre-production, shoot, post-production, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Team and Art Director to evolve Castelion's visual language across all video content.
  • Make key decisions on look, tone, pacing, and storytelling approach for video content.
  • Build and manage the infrastructure of an in-house production studio, including workflow systems, vendor/agency relationships, and equipment decisions.
  • Manage the production pipeline from brief to final deliverable.
  • Be hands-on in production tasks, including shooting and editing, and identify needs for scaling the team.
  • Work directly with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure technical accuracy and precision in content.
  • Engage, manage, and route requests from business partners across the company.
  • Drive creative ambition in defense industry content and innovate on content strategy and formats.
  • Hold the big picture creative vision while tracking granular details of production schedules.
  • Communicate strong opinions about visual craft and bring others to your point of view.
  • Understand how stories are built for social-native environments and how narratives live across channels.
  • Engineer the relationship between clips and audience attention to pull people toward larger stories.
