About The Position

FTAI Power is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to own end‑to‑end procurement and supply chain execution for a highly complex, capital‑intensive development program. This role carries full accountability for supplier performance, material availability, schedule adherence, and risk management across a multi‑vendor, engineering‑driven environment. The role partners directly with senior leadership across Engineering, Finance, and Commercial teams and serves as the central point of control for procurement execution against program milestones. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring sound judgment, strong supplier command, and the ability to operate with urgency and precision.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or program execution roles
  • Proven experience owning supplier performance and procurement execution in capital equipment, industrial, energy, aerospace, or infrastructure environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating pricing, lead times, and contractual milestones
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort building procurement models, trackers, and executive‑level reporting
  • Confident communicator with demonstrated ability to influence suppliers and senior internal stakeholders
  • Highly accountable, execution‑focused leader who anticipates risk and drives outcomes

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead all procurement activities across the program, including supplier strategy, sourcing execution, and delivery performance
  • Maintain and control complex bills of materials and procurement plans across multiple workstreams, ensuring accuracy, version discipline, and alignment with engineering changes
  • Lead supplier engagement end‑to‑end: purchase order issuance, lead‑time negotiation, milestone tracking, payment coordination, logistics, and documentation
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier issues, driving resolution, accountability, and risk mitigation
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks and constraints; present mitigation plans and tradeoffs to senior leadership
  • Lead RFPs, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and cost benchmarking as the program scales
  • Own procurement reporting, spend tracking, dashboards, and executive‑level status updates
  • Partner cross‑functionally to support program planning, schedule revisions, and make‑buy decisions tied to engineering and manufacturing changes.
