We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager – Rigid Packaging to join our client's team and play a key role in developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and delivering value across the organization. The Senior Procurement Manager – Rigid Packaging will lead sourcing and supplier management activities for a significant category portfolio while providing leadership and development to a team of two direct reports. This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure supply continuity, optimize costs, and support strategic business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience, preferably within packaging or related manufacturing industries.
- Experience with rigid packaging categories strongly preferred.
- Proven supplier negotiation and contract management expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with direct reports.
- Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for rigid packaging categories.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management activities.
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and finance.
- Identify and implement cost savings and value creation opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support innovation efforts.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of two procurement professionals.
- Ensure supply continuity and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
