Caterpillar’s CISM org is hiring for Senior Procurement Compliance Professional. Role Summary: In this role you will apply technical expertise and experience to drive communication, collaboration and problem solving for the procurement organization.

Requirements

  • Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Nice To Haves

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Risk Management, Business, Logistics or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing daily procedures and reviewing/assessing activities against internal control standards.
  • Directing and participating in the risk and compliance education of the organization, ensuring ongoing and follow up education including regulations, policies, procedures and trends.
  • Developing, initiating and revising policies and procedures for the general operation of the business unit's compliance program and its related activities.
  • Identifying potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; developing corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and providing guidance for use in future situations.
  • Supporting IAAS audits and internal reviews, including audit preparation, assisting the CISM team during the audit, and actively participating in issue remediation and certification.
  • Assisting the CISM team related to periodic audit questions and issues that may arise in daily work responsibilities.
  • Mentoring and coaching other team members on compliance standards and applying them effectively as per business practices.
