Iron Mountain is seeking a high performing Networking Hardware Procurement Professional to join our Global Procurement team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic category plans for technology categories, leading complex contract negotiations for networking hardware, and driving significant cost optimization initiatives. This role is pivotal in strengthening our global infrastructure by ensuring strategic, high value procurement of critical networking assets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technology sourcing or a related strategic sourcing field.
  • Deep knowledge of networking hardware and infrastructure components, with broad knowledge of the hardware supply chain, logistics, and relevant market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to lead complex contract negotiations, drive unit cost reduction, and lead deals from start to finish.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Nice To Haves

  • CPSM or other related industry certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and lead category plans to drive cost savings and long-term value creation across all relevant networking hardware and telecommunications technology categories.
  • Partner with IT Architecture teams to understand the long-term networking hardware roadmap, ensuring category plans support future technology needs, innovation, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance, senior executives) and key technology suppliers to ensure category plans are aligned with business needs.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers, leading complex negotiations to secure favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate all technology category risks, including supply chain disruptions, vendor compliance, and adherence to organizational policies and regulations.
