About The Position

The Senior Procurement Category Manager (SPCM) role manages a team of procurement professionals to develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies that deliver cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and long-term business value. The Senior Procurement Category Manager will lead high-impact negotiations, oversee complex commercial activities, and ensure supply chain competitiveness, compliance, and resilience. You’ll influence senior stakeholders and leverage global talent to strengthen Rolls-Royce’s sourcing capability across multiple business areas. Requirements

  • Associate degree with 10+ years of procurement experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of procurement experience, OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of procurement experience, OR JD/PhD with 3+ years of procurement experience, OR 12+ years of experience in procurement in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and category management to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the company goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance, compliance, and long-term collaboration.
  • Oversee cost-reduction initiatives and risk mitigation plans to ensure commercial resilience.
  • Guide and develop a team of strategic sourcing professionals to build capability and drive results.
  • Collaborate across business functions to align procurement strategy with organizational priorities.
  • Support ongoing process improvement and best-practice sharing across the global procurement network.
