About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and supplier relationship management. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement best practices, market trends, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Buyer or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent understanding of procurement processes and market dynamics.
• Knowledge of Egyptian regulations related to procurement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and resolving issues.
• Familiarity with inventory management and forecasting.
• Experience with import procedures and customs clearance.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Process purchase orders accurately and maintain up-to-date procurement records.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with Egyptian regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
• Manage and maintain positive supplier relationships, and resolve any issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and assist in forecasting future purchasing requirements.
• Handle import procedures and oversee customs clearance when required.
