You will support our Drug Substance Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific and play an important role in our company's success. As a Senior Manufacturing Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll manage manufacturing operations that support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This role offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to global healthcare, scientific research, and environmental protection through advanced manufacturing operations. Guide strategic initiatives, implement continuous improvement methodologies, and develop high-performing teams that deliver effective solutions for our customers worldwide. Through cross-functional collaboration, you'll enhance manufacturing processes, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. This leadership role involves directing manufacturing teams across various product lines while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• BS degree required.
• 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing operations management, with 5 years leading teams.
• Demonstrated experience in regulated environments (ISO 13485, cGMP, FDA)
• Experience managing budgets and driving cost optimization initiatives.
• Experience with change management and process optimization.
• Strong knowledge of spray drying operations
• Strong track record of implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PPI)
• Expert knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, productivity metrics, and financial management
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic operational plans
• Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated success in team development
• Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Expertise in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Success in adapting to changing priorities
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Willingness to travel as required (<15%, likely little to no travel required)

• Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related technical field.
• Advanced degree highly preferred.
• Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant professional certifications highly valued.
