About The Position

The Senior Process Engineer works on complex manufacturing problems, identifies root causes, and follows issues through to resolution. The role develops manufacturing processes, equipment and tooling alternatives, and production sequences and workflows to use personnel, materials, machines, and facilities effectively. It contributes to project management for large programs and projects, including establishing project timing and milestones, and ensures manufacturing process definitions and operation sequences. The position also considers human factors and monitors material flow. The engineer supports the design, construction, integration, installation, launch, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and tools used to produce high-quality parts. The role provides technical direction and oversight to external vendors, develops and tests advanced process technology, and troubleshoots product problems involving designs, materials, or processes. It investigates operational issues such as material-use variances and bottlenecks, identifies or implements improvements to manufacturing processes and products, and applies continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to improve quality, reliability, or cost effectiveness. The work follows a hybrid policy of three days in the office and two days remote. The employee must be able to report to a local office.
