About The Position

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants. This role provides cradle-to-grave processing support for New Product Development and legacy tooling support at the plant level. The ideal candidate will have specialized depth and breadth of experience in developing and improving manufacturing methods consistent with scientific mold and process control principles, and extensive experience in solving complex problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related Engineering field (experience to be considered in lieu of education).
  • RJG Training Certification - Master Molder I & II or AIM Molding 3.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.
  • Proposes & recommends best practices & innovation, grasps the cause-and-effect relationships among different business functions and overall performance.

  • Knowledge of methodologies, tools, and techniques for designing, building and managing the manufacture of new tools.
  • Knowledge of methods, accepted practices, considerations and regulatory requirements associated with safety and protection of the employees, environment and site.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants (pilot to fully operational) to achieve production goals.
  • Provide cradle-to-grave processing support for New Product Development and legacy tooling support at the plant level.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods consistent with the principles of scientific mold and process control.
  • Manage plant, equipment, and process improvement projects, as assigned.
  • Collaborate with operations, technical, and hourly personnel to optimize processes.
  • Manage the process to optimize press cycle time and consistency.
  • Assist in the development and manufacture of new tools to minimize ‘time to market’ while maximizing cost effectiveness.
  • Participate in the selection of processes and mold design considerations for new products.
  • Lead various scrap improvement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
