About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical or Mechanical Engineer to join our process engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-pressure gas equipment design with focus on Gas Processing, Filtration Equipment & collaborating with our operations and service teams. This role is ideal for individuals who have at least 5 years experience in the high-pressure gas market, a great attitude, and a focused approach to innovation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years experience in the high pressure gas industry, preferably in CNG.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
P.Eng. in one or more Canadian jurisdiction.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with AHJ’s in both the US and Canada.
Good working knowledge in pressure piping codes and standards.
Strong proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Visio, HYSYS).
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Working collaboratively with our Director of Process Engineering and our customers to develop new and innovative gas equipment solutions that meet the customers needs.
Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry codes & standards and company guidelines and private high-level interpretation of existing standards globally.
Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, and General Arrangement drawings
Assist operations with commissioning and startup, resolving real-world system issues
Select and specify equipment
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for equipment and internal processes.
Work closely with operations and service teams to understand process requirements and challenges.
Provide engineering support and troubleshooting assistance for operational issues.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Contribute to the development of training materials and programs for operations staff.
