About The Position

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research. We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. The Senior Process Development Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to support new and existing product lines. This role focuses on identifying and implementing capacity improvement opportunities, conducting yield analysis, and leading yield improvement initiatives. The engineer defines equipment requirements and specifications, and evaluates processing techniques used in the manufacture, fabrication, and testing of products. Engagement may begin at any stage—from pre-production through full-scale manufacturing. Under general direction, the engineer supports production areas for cooler fabrication and integration for the majority of the time, with special projects and allocations to support cooeld and uncooled programs with new equipment, process development, equipment source inspection, installation and qualification, developing and maintaining methods, sequences, and processes for manufacturing, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. The role interfaces with design and systems engineering to coordinate the release of new products, estimates manufacturing costs, establishes time standards, and recommends tooling and process requirements for both new and existing product lines. It also includes maintaining documentation and reporting systems for manufacturing operations. This individual will further interact with logistical and business groups to accomplish the goals. This is a highly independent role with significant organizational impact, requiring data-driven decision-making to support operational success and company growth.
