About The Position

This role is responsible for daily account servicing and client advisement needs, including handling inquiries, processing downloads, maintaining agency management system accuracy, claims advising, endorsements, and evidence of insurance. The position also involves cultivating strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers, managing the renewal process for an assigned book of business, and participating in client meetings to ensure adequate asset protection. Additionally, the Senior Private Client Advisor will assist with onboarding and training new associates, serve as a subject matter expert, and participate in cross-selling opportunities. The role also requires following up on accounts receivable and engaging in continuous learning to expand technical coverage knowledge.

  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products
  • Minimum 5 years of similar or related experience
  • Property and Casualty license required for state of business
  • Must fulfill continuing education requirement to retain license

Responsibilities

  • Daily account servicing and client advisement needs
  • Handling client and insurance company inquiries
  • Processing daily carrier downloads
  • Obtaining daily notifications and alerts from carrier websites
  • Maintaining accurate account information in agency management system
  • Claims advising, endorsements, evidence of insurance, auto ID cards
  • Cultivating and maintaining excellent communication and relationships with clients and insurance carriers
  • Managing the renewal process on assigned book of business
  • Preparing pre-renewal summary
  • Online quoting via carrier rating platforms and comparative rater
  • Reviewing quotes and negotiating terms and premiums
  • Preparing final quotes and proposals for delivery to client
  • Binding coverage and issuing renewal invoices
  • Participating in conference calls and/or periodic in-person client meetings
  • Assisting with the onboarding and training of new associates
  • Serving as a subject matter expert and providing technical expertise to staff
  • Participating in cross-selling new or adding additional lines of coverage or services on existing accounts
  • Following up on accounts receivable items in accordance with IMA Accounts Receivable Policy
  • Attending education classes in combination with individual study programs to expand technical coverage knowledge
