As Senior Privacy Counsel you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impacting Apple’s business and products globally. You will work directly with business and engineering teams to design innovative privacy solutions for products as well as across the legal department on Apple activities and regulatory issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years professional legal experience advising on privacy laws
• Knowledge of comprehensive privacy laws, and regulatory and other guidance and standards
• Deep understanding of US state and federal sector-specific privacy laws
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with senior leaders, teammates, and cross-functional colleagues
• Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications
• Experience quickly issue-spotting, analyzing, and clearly communicating privacy advice on complex legal issues
• Experience drafting and negotiating privacy related contracts
• Strong analytics capability with attention to detail
• JD or equivalent with 4-10 years experience in privacy
• Admission to at least one US state bar.

Responsibilities

• Advising and providing support on privacy related aspects for Apple’s various products and services.
• Working alongside legal, engineering and business teams.
• Directly supporting Apple advertising and services marketing teams group.
• Working closely with privacy policy colleagues in helping advise the business and engineering teams on cutting-edge privacy issues.
