About The Position

Boeing’s Law and Global Compliance team is looking for a Senior Privacy and Data Protection Professional to join our team in Plano, TX, Arlington, VA, Everett, WA, North Charleston, SC, Renton, WA, or Seattle, WA. Reporting into Boeing’s Global Privacy Office, this high‑impact privacy role will drive critical risk assessments and remediations, build scalable privacy‑by‑design guardrails, and configure privacy point solutions. Acting as a trusted partner to business leaders and stakeholders, you will strengthen governance, elevate program maturity through metrics and control testing, and influence strategic decisions that protect Boeing’s people, customers, and competitive position. This role requires a hands‑on professional who will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, scalable controls and drive measurable outcomes across a global enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in privacy roles integrating privacy regulations and policy into business operations
  • Experience conducting Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIAs) and translating results into controls and remediation
  • Experience configuring privacy point solutions such as OneTrust to automate workflows and reporting
  • Experience in program governance: policy management, Data Subject Request (DSR) handling, training development and delivery, and policy lifecycle oversight
  • Experience enabling the business through guardrails, privacy‑by‑design, and operational policy guidance
  • Experience partnering across teams and enabling business adoption of privacy controls
  • Experience translating complex policies and regulations into clear, pragmatic controls
  • Experience running privacy regulatory projects and communicating with senor leaders across a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience managing competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and translate findings into practical controls and remediation plans.
  • Enable the business through privacy‑by‑design guidance, and operational playbooks that balance compliance with business objectives.
  • Automate low-risk activities and processes in favor of risk-based guardrails and other enablers.
  • Strengthen program governance including policy management, data subject request processes (DSR), and training and awareness programs tailored to role and context.
  • Configure, administer, and configure privacy point solutions (e.g., OneTrust) with optimized intake workflows, DSR handling, website controls, and operational reporting.
  • Design and deliver relatable, role‑specific privacy training and awareness campaigns tailored to audience needs and operational contexts.
  • Optimize the risk and control framework for privacy risks; perform control testing and further mature documentation of in-control status.
  • Continuously advance privacy program maturity using KPIs, audit findings, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Prepare and provide regular, actionable updates to leadership on key risks and corrective actions.
