About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer experienced in developing automated test software solutions for its Countermeasure and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) organization. The role supports electronic warfare capabilities and involves collaboration with Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineers across the Product Development Lifecycle. Work may be performed in a hybrid format, splitting time between onsite and remote work, with a 9/80 work schedule. Positions are available in Southern New Hampshire, including Nashua, Hudson, Merrimack, and Manchester. U.S. citizenship is required pursuant to a government contract, and the candidate must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
At least 8 years of experience in an engineering or production environment.
Proficiency in C, C#, C++, or scripting languages.
Experience in NI development environments, including TestStand or CVI.
U.S. citizenship is required pursuant to a government contract.

Nice To Haves

Experience using and developing drivers for RF test equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, RF sources, and power meters.
Experience with RF measurement techniques.
Agile development experience.
Real-time embedded programming experience.
Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, ClearCase, or Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and code test software solutions, typically in C#, for multiple product hierarchies including CCA, LRU, and system-level products.
Create standalone automated test solutions using NI TestStand.
Prepare design and test documentation in accordance with established processes.
Provide technical leadership as needed.
