About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Test Conductor to join the team of qualified individuals on our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located onsite in Melbourne, FL. In this role, the successful candidate will support Mission System programs as part of the System Test Team based out of Melbourne, FL. Candidate will provide support for all system test activities, to include test planning, creation of required test procedures, post test data analysis, creation of problem reports, and reporting on test results. Candidate shall display professionalism, leadership, have a strong work ethic, work well with others, and be able to function as member of the System Test Team.

Requirements

  • Must have a High School diploma (or equivalent) AND 12 years of related professional/military experience OR an Associate of Science degree AND 10 years of related professional/military experience OR a Bachelor of Science degree AND 8 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience.
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering work instructions and schematics
  • Must be willing and able to support multiple shifts and odd hours to accommodate testing efforts and lab schedules

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in STEM Field
  • Proficiency with hands-on mechanical assembly, electronics testing, and electronics evaluation.
  • Current, active Top Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development, execution, and peer review of test procedures
  • Participate in both Formal and Non-Formal Test execution events
  • Participate in test planning, problem report validation testing, and post testing data analysis
  • Provide support in the creation of required test artifacts used for official PCM and SRM releases to our customer
  • Attend and participate in all System Test meetings
  • Willing to support multiple shifts and odd hours to accommodate testing efforts and lab schedules.
