About The Position

As a Senior-Level Systems Engineer for CISR, you’ll be a lead member of cross-functional hardware and system design teams responsible for the realization of complex computing and communications systems. You’ll make substantial contributions to CONOPS, requirements definition, trade studies, performance analysis, design, integration, and verification of these systems. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with System Modeling tools (e.g.Cameo/ MagicDraw).
  • Hands-on lab experience with use of electronic test equipment.
  • Background in electro-optics, including free-space communications.
  • Experience with the design and development of high-speed mixed-signal electronics hardware and packaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead member of cross-functional hardware and system design teams responsible for the realization of complex computing and communications systems.
  • Make substantial contributions to CONOPS, requirements definition, trade studies, performance analysis, design, integration, and verification of these systems.
  • Architecture development, requirements derivation, and suballocation.
  • Defining system behavior and system structure.
  • Managing the cradle-to-grave life cycle of related products.
  • Design, simulation, and verification of systems and their models.
  • Understanding of communication transmission rates, formats, and waveforms.
  • Design of complex systems and subsystems.
  • Provide technical leadership and position others for success.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
