Senior Principal Radar Systems Engineer

E-SpaceArlington, TX
Onsite

About The Position

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems. We’re intentional, we’re unapologetically curious and we’re 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life. Join us to design and deploy next-generation, satellite-based radar that delivers persistent, all-weather, day-night sensing at global scale. You’ll build end-to-end capabilities—from waveform design, on-board processing, classification and calibration—for systems on LEO platforms. Working across RF hardware, phased arrays, and advanced DSP, you’ll turn raw echoes into decision-ready products. If you thrive at the intersection of electromagnetics, signal processing, and systems engineering—and want your code and designs to fly—this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering, applied mathematics, physics, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of radar, sonar, communications, or high-rate signal-processing experience.
  • Strong DSP fundamentals and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, CUDA, or comparable tools.
  • Experience translating algorithms into real-time implementations and objective tests.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level or higher, and any program-specific access for the position.
  • Continued employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining the required clearance and access.
