Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Experience with optical metrology and test equipment calibration including development of procedures and uncertainty analysis compliant to ANSI Z540.
  • Experience in deriving and implementing technical requirements of complex optical systems and test equipment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced proficiency in optical testing includes design, implementation, and troubleshooting of optical equipment.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers in optical tests and metrology.
  • Experience being the technical lead of complex test development.
  • Experience in data analysis for identifying trends and impartment opportunities.
  • Experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test equipment based on system level performance requirements.
  • Design test stations for production factories, customer sites, and engineering needs.
  • Build and maintain optical test stations throughout the factory supporting multiple programs.
