About The Position

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced, motivated Senior Principal Electrical or Computer Engineering candidate to design, implement, and verify testbenches for high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs used in signal processing and information assurance products across Mission Systems on the Microelectronics Technology team. The role focuses on verification environment architecture and design using SystemVerilog with UVM/UVM-F, developing written test plans and testcases, tracking code and functional coverage, and verifying RTL blocks written in VHDL or SystemVerilog. The engineer will recommend tools and practices to improve the FPGA verification flow, contribute estimates for new program pursuits, and provide technical leadership to project verification teams by planning and allocating work and reporting status. The position is onsite in El Segundo, California, and requires an active, transferable U.S. government Secret security clearance before starting. U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility. The successful candidate will work with an experienced team, learn Collins’ engineering processes and verification practices, and use technologies developed in-house and by external vendors. The role is eligible for relocation assistance. The posted salary range is $145,600–$276,800 per year; offers depend on factors including experience, location, education, and skills.
