Come be a part of our mission! We are looking for you to join our team as an EMI/EMC Electrical Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. As Power Electronics Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman, you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields
  • Prior experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Active US Government Secret Clearance is required
  • Electronic hardware design experience
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 464 and DO-160
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC simulation, modeling, and testing.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation using PSPICE
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in using CST CAE tools
  • Experience with EMP simulation, modeling, and testing.
  • Experience in Signal Integrity analysis, working knowledge in using Cadence Signal Integrity analysis tool or Siemens HyperLynx high-speed analysis tools.
  • Experience with sub-system and system level EMI/EMC testing
  • Knowledge of circuit simulation and modeling using Ansys EMC Plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical circuit analysis, test and troubleshooting.
  • Support development of EMI/EMC requirements.
  • Support development of EMI/EMC hardware design requirements at sub-system level.
  • Perform design analysis to verify compliance.
