Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Senior Principal Contract Administrator (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will lead Contract Set Up Group (CSG) activities within our Defense Sector, Weapon Systems Division. This position will be based in Plymouth, MN or any NG onsite location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of business-related experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of stated experience.
  • Understanding of government contracting.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manage large sets of data and create pivot tables, charts, and graphs to summarize information.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Ability to work on-site with a possible telecommute option 2-3 days per week in Plymouth, MN.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in contract set up within SAP S4 HANA.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate changes into the SAP S4 HANA system that reflect negotiated and agreed-upon contract parameters and guidelines.
  • Conduct contract “kick-off” meetings with internal stakeholders and management to review and confirm data.
  • Develop and maintain tailored CSG processes to address division or programmatic nuances.
  • Prepare month-end reports that show the workload for all individuals within the group. Support monthly workload schedules, identify pressures and opportunities, and assist in developing recovery plans as required.
  • Perform analyses and quarterly audits to ensure that contracts are set up correctly. Establish metrics to demonstrate audit finding trends.
  • Support requests for data by programs, customers, and company management.
