This specific role is a high-impact, customer-facing position within the presales organization. It requires a senior insurance billing expert who understands both the business and technology aspects of Personal and Commercial Lines operations. The individual will partner with sales teams, lead functional discovery discussions, shape modernization conversations, and demonstrate how billing and accounts receivable solutions address real business problems for P&C insurers. The role involves influencing enterprise buying decisions and shaping strategic insurance technology programs, particularly for those with experience in insurance commercial billing platforms and a passion for customer transformation.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in P&C insurance billing and accounts receivable operations in the North American market
  • Experience with commercial insurance billing platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, or similar solutions
  • Strong understanding of Personal and Commercial Lines business processes
  • Ability to connect business needs with solution capabilities and transformation outcomes
  • Experience gathering and defining functional requirements
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Background as a Business Analyst (preferred), Functional Analyst, Billing Supervisor, Systems Analyst, Solution Consultant, or related role within insurance technology or carrier operations
  • Experience supporting software demos, pre-sales engagements, or enterprise solution presentations is strongly preferred
  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve workflows, content development, and customer engagement

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the billing and accounts receivable domain expert within the presales organization
  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer pain points, modernization goals, and operational challenges
  • Lead discovery conversations, workshops, and functional solution discussions with insurance carriers and MGAs
  • Translate business requirements into solution narratives and functional positioning
  • Support demos, use cases, customer presentations, and RFI/RFP responses
  • Help insurers evaluate system replacement and transformation initiatives across billing and policy operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve demo assets, reusable collateral, and sales enablement content
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve research, demo preparation, customer engagement, and pre-sales productivity
