About The Position

Our client is looking for a Senior Principal Architect Agentic AI & Digital Platforms to serve as the onshore technical anchor for an Agentic AI initiative across customer-facing digital platforms. The ideal candidate will translate business intent into scalable, governed, production-ready systems and hold the architectural line across delivery teams. The right person codes, reviews, and debates trade-offs in the same week they brief a VP.

Requirements

• 12–18 years of enterprise/platform architecture experience.
• 3–4+ years of AI/ML or GenAI experience in production.
• Proven experience shipping LLM-based agent systems (not just POCs).
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Knowledge of ReAct, multi-agent handoffs, RAG, and MCP.
• Experience architecting against hallucination, tool misuse, and cost runaway.
• Proficiency in Python with demonstrated reference implementations.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value for VPs.

Nice To Haves

• Direct retail/commerce domain exposure.
• In-depth LLMOps experience (e.g., LangSmith, Langfuse).
• Experience in onshore/offshore delivery leadership.
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs as grounding layers.

Responsibilities

• Design & govern end-to-end agentic architecture for apps, loyalty, payments, and commerce workflows.
• Orchestrator/subagent hierarchies, tool calling, stateful graph workflows, agent memory layers.
• Establish Model Context Protocol standards for governed tool and enterprise service exposure.
• Implement runtime guardrails including spend controls, fraud hooks, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and full auditability trails.
• Lead AI agent integration with catalog, inventory, pricing, promotions, loyalty, and checkout.
• Establish LLMOps standards including prompt versioning, RAG governance, evaluation harnesses, and observability (latency, cost, drift, safety).
