We are seeking a Senior Pricing Strategy Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing approach across insurance products and markets. The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $80,000.00 – $125,500.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $69,700.00 - $109,300.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.
Requirements
- 4–6 years in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or cost evaluation in data-rich environments
- Advanced Excel expertise (scenario analysis, forecasting, large-scale modeling)
- Strong SQL and ETL capabilities for data extraction and transformation (e.g., Snowflake)
- Experience building automated dashboards and self-service reporting (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Applied predictive modeling skills for pricing, forecasting, or risk analysis (Python, R, or similar a plus)
- Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations
- Strong project management and prioritization skills in cross-functional environments
Responsibilities
- Drive pricing strategy through analysis of claims, market trends, and internal business data
- Build and refine predictive pricing models incorporating costs, margins, and utilization
- Evaluate and optimize pricing structures (e.g., shared savings) to improve profitability
- Partner with sales to strengthen pricing strategy, negotiations, and customer value
- Assess cost structures to ensure alignment with margin and profitability targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, marketing, finance, product, underwriting) on pricing decisions
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from internal and external sources
- Develop automated reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations
- Monitor key performance indicators including profitability, loss ratios, and underwriting results
- Assess risk across customer segments and geographies, including emerging risk trends
