About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Pricing Strategist. This remote position is based out of our Oak Ridge, TN office. Your role Working within the Growth team with close coordination with the Finance team, determining appropriate pricing strategy for company opportunities. Responsible for developing and implementing winning pricing strategies that maximize profitability while ensuring competitive market positioning and compliance. Analyzes pricing data, market trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing to determine optimal price points for company products and/or services in nuclear industry with values ranging from $100M up to $50B. Lead cost volume development and proposal cost volume team initiatives to ensure product submitted meets customer requirements and is compliant with internal procedures. Utilizes data analytics to inform strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives. Develops pricing models that may include dynamic pricing, value-based pricing, and promotional pricing strategies. Develops measurement tools to identify changing market trends within nuclear industry. Collaborates with marketing, finance, and growth teams to ensure cohesive pricing decisions. Continuously monitors pricing effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth and market share. Adjusts pricing strategies based on market conditions, previous success, and performance as needed to ensure competitiveness within nuclear industry. Presents findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring that pricing strategies align with overall business goals. Prepares comprehensive reports and files on pricing strategies and performance metrics. Works with growth and project teams to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to pricing. Supports growth and finance team members on pricing policies and strategies as needed. Participates in proposal development cost and pricing reviews, price-to-win, and risk reviews supporting the development of bid approval review. Works with appropriate teams on daily and/or weekly prioritization of pricing activities ensuring timely support for opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or Financial Analyst.
  • Equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience related to the infrastructure industry acceptable.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and competitive analysis.
  • Experience with pricing software and analytical tools.
  • Advanced excel/modeling skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Job requires strong organizational skills, together with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for interpreting complex data to make informed pricing decisions.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and pricing software to develop and implement pricing strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, presenting pricing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Pricing or financial analysis preferred.
  • Experience in nuclear industry is strongly preferred.
