About The Position

Strata-G Solutions is seeking a full-time Pricing Analyst to support complex business proposals. The role requires hands-on pricing analysis experience in a manufacturing, distribution, government contracting, or commercial finance environment, with a focus on accurate, compliant proposals aligned with company policies and customer specifications. The position is fully on-site in Huntsville, Alabama, and is eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The analyst applies financial analysis and government pricing knowledge to develop pricing strategies and proposal materials. This includes cost and rate analysis, Price-to-Win (PTW), cost realism and reasonableness assessments, data-driven estimating, and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs). The role also involves working with subject matter experts and proposal teams, preparing cost narratives and labor Basis of Estimates, and presenting pricing assumptions, summaries, and risks to senior leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience may substitute.
3–5 years of experience in contract pricing, cost estimating, or proposal development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and engage professionally with leadership and colleagues.
Extensive expertise in government pricing strategies, cost and price analysis, and regulatory compliance with FAR and CAS.
Strong problem-solving abilities and advanced analytical thinking.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments with shifting priorities.
History of delivering accurate, fully compliant proposals reliably and precisely.

Responsibilities

Use financial analysis and government pricing strategies to support complex business proposals.
Apply rate analysis, Price-to-Win (PTW), cost realism and reasonableness assessments, data-driven estimating, and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs).
Develop and finalize cost narratives aligned with RFP Section L requirements, explaining pricing approaches and supporting data.
Analyze RFP terms and conditions and participate in proposal and solicitation reviews.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop labor Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
Perform PTW analyses and develop tailored pricing strategies for strategic bids.
Present pricing assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessments to senior leadership before proposal submissions.
Maintain and update proposal data and documentation in the Proposal Management repository.
